Women’s Ministry 2026 Retreat
SDA Women’s Ministry is about nurturing, empowering, and encouraging women to grow spiritually and to be actively involved in their church and community through various programs and ministries. Its core focus is the motto “Touch a Heart, Tell the World,” which involves strengthening relationships with Jesus and others, using spiritual gifts in service, and participating in outreach activities. This ministry also provides support for women’s needs, training for leadership and other skills, and initiatives like abuse prevention and scholarships for young women.
Core goals and activities
- Nurturing faith: Encouraging women in their personal relationship with Jesus through Bible studies, prayer, and devotions.
- Empowering women: Providing training and equipping them to use their spiritual gifts and leadership abilities in various roles within the church and community. This includes leadership certification and mental health training.
- Community and outreach: Fostering fellowship and encouraging women to reach out to others in their homes, churches, and communities through service and evangelism.
- Supporting women: Addressing the spiritual, emotional, physical, and social needs of women through programs, support systems, and resources on topics like abuse prevention and teen purity.
- Promoting holistic well-being: Addressing women’s needs and helping them to improve their potential for participation in the church’s mission.
- Mentoring and scholarships: Encouraging young women through mentorship and providing scholarships to support their education.
