Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) community outreach frequently involves soup kitchens and hot meal programs as part of its Adventist Community Services (ACS) initiatives to combat hunger and poverty. These programs, often called “community meals” or “street lunches,” are designed to provide nutritious, hot food to the homeless, working-poor, and disadvantaged individuals.
